Privacy policy

On your device

Your progress, statistics, streaks, achievements and settings are stored on your device. They are included in Android's own device backup if you have backup turned on.

Online features

When you post a score to a leaderboard or send or play a challenge, the app creates an anonymous account with Google Firebase Authentication. We then store, in Google Cloud Firestore:

• your nickname and chosen emoji avatar,
• your scores, number of correct answers and the emoji result grid for daily puzzles and challenges,
• challenges you create (which verses were played) and the results of people who played them.

Nicknames, avatars and scores are visible to other players on leaderboards and challenges. Your Google name, photo and email are never shown.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Firebase receives your Google account ID and email address so you can keep your scores on another device. We don't use them for anything else.

Analytics

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as which screens are used and app version and device type. Ad personalisation signals are turned off. See Google's privacy policy.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account and online data. This removes your leaderboard entries, challenges, results and online profile, and deletes your account. See Delete your account for other ways to ask us.

Children

The app is a general-audience Bible quiz. We don't knowingly collect personal information beyond what's described above.
